Last updated 8 August 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. We wrote it to be read rather than to be technically survivable, and it describes what we actually do.
Who we are
We publish information about pest control in Dallas and route calls to independent pest control operators licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture.
Telephone calls
The telephone number we publish is a tracked number. When you call it:
- The call is routed to an independent pest control operator.
- The call may be recorded for quality and training purposes.
- Call metadata — the number you called from, the time, the duration, and which page or source the number was displayed on — is processed to attribute and bill the call.
- Anything you tell the operator during that call is held by that operator under its own privacy practices, not ours. If you want to know how a specific company handles your information, ask them directly.
Texas is a one-party consent state for call recording. Notice is given here, in the site footer and on the contact page regardless, because you should know before you dial rather than after.
Information collected on the website
Our pages are static. We run no account system, no login, no shopping basket and no contact form, so there is nothing here that asks you to type personal information into a page.
Standard technical information is processed when a page is served, as it is by any web server: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referring page and timestamp. This is used for security and to understand which pages are being read.
Analytics and third parties
- Hosting and edge network. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes request data as part of delivering and protecting it, and may set a cookie for security purposes. Cloudflare may also inject its own analytics script at the edge; where it does, that script measures page performance and visits.
- Analytics. Where a web analytics service is in use, it records page views, approximate location at city level, traffic source and device type. It is used to understand which pages are useful, not to identify individuals.
- Call tracking. The tracked telephone number is provided by a call tracking platform, which processes call metadata and recordings as described above.
We sell nothing to data brokers, and we embed no advertising network in these pages.
Your choices
- You can browse without calling. Nothing on the site requires you to identify yourself.
- You can block cookies and scripts in your browser. The site is static and remains fully readable with scripts disabled.
- If you do not want a call recorded, do not use the tracked number — contact a pest control company directly instead.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to or deletion of personal information held about you. Texas residents have rights under state privacy law. Send requests relating to call records to us through the contact page; requests relating to what an operator holds should go to that operator.
Retention
Call metadata and recordings are retained by the call tracking platform for the period needed to verify and bill calls and to resolve disputes, after which they are deleted according to that platform's retention schedule. Server logs are retained on a short rolling basis.
Children
We intend this site for adults arranging pest control services. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If we add something that collects information in a way not described here, we update this page before that happens, not afterwards.
