Calling is the fastest route
Call us and we will put you through to an independent, TDA-licensed pest control operator working in Dallas. There is no queue system, no form to fill in first, and we charge you nothing.
Lines are generally answered 7am to 8pm daily. Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes.
What to have ready
Two minutes of preparation makes a substantial difference to how useful the call is, and to how accurate any quote turns out to be.
- What you are seeing. The insect or animal, the damage, the droppings, the mound — whatever the actual evidence is.
- Where, exactly. Kitchen, attic, garage, lawn, one room or several. For rodents, note the time of day you hear noise: night-active usually means rats or mice, daytime usually means squirrels, and they are different jobs.
- How long. First noticed yesterday, or been going on since spring.
- The building. House or apartment, roughly what age, single or two storey, and — importantly for termite work — slab or pier-and-beam if you know.
- Anything already tried. Especially any product you have sprayed, because it changes how an operator approaches the first treatment.
- Photographs. Even a phone photo of an insect next to a coin settles most identification questions immediately.
- Any deadline. If you are inside an option period on a house purchase, say so at the start.
Questions worth asking the operator
Ask whether the company is licensed and insured, and ask to see both — its current TDA licence and proof of insurance. Ask how many visits the quote includes and what a further visit costs. Ask what is included beyond the treatment itself — inspection, clean-up, sealing, follow-up. Ask what product will be used and what its label says about re-entry. For termite work, ask whether you are being offered a treatment, an ongoing agreement, or both, and whether the agreement transfers if you sell. Get the terms in writing before work starts.
What we cannot help with
- Quotes. Only the operator who inspects your property can price the work. The ranges we publish are typical local figures for sanity-checking a proposal.
- Existing jobs. If you have already booked work, the company doing it is the right contact. We have no visibility into any operator's schedule, invoices or records.
- Medical questions. Bites, stings and exposure concerns are for a clinician or a poison control centre.
- Public health and code matters. Mosquito surveillance and West Nile notices come from Dallas County Health and Human Services. Rodent harbourage, dumping and property code complaints go to the City of Dallas through 311.
- Wildlife. Raccoons, opossums, squirrels, snakes and bats are handled under different rules by different specialists than insect and rodent work.
Corrections and feedback
We welcome factual corrections to anything we publish, especially on the guides. Every guide shows when it was published and last reviewed, so it is clear how current a page is. If a figure has moved, a source has changed or something reads as misleading, say so on the call and it will be looked at.
Ready when you are.
Describe what you are seeing, where, and for how long. Photographs help more than anything else. Calls may be recorded for quality and training.
